Banned from TG

The thread about this on the trade talk forum was insane and went from intetesting to major drama quickly.

 

I just read this on TGs FB. That is messed up, but sadly it doesn't shock me to what lengths people will go to cheat others.

 

I'm glad they found out who he was and are prohibiting him from the premises. Fuck that guy. Sure, truck-chasing, muling, and all that are annoying, but this is a much worse problem. I hope it doesn't spawn any copycats, though I'm sure this isn't the first time and won't be the last.

I'm guessing this guy had his hand in all those things if he took it to this level. Probably the same guy that people were saying was in line at TG for one of the releases, took his beer to his car and then put on a disguise to get more bottles.

How about that one guy who sold bottles online for $200? Remember him?

 

Yep, I sold a bottle. And gave away four bottles for free to friends.

What about those guys that trade Assassin and KBBS for more than the $20 ($15 for KBBS) they cost and instead ask for $200-$400 in beer? Looks like 58 bottles of Assassin have been sold in just the last 90 days on one site.

I could care less because I haven't seen a single bottle of Assassin or KBBS trade for $15-$20 worth of beer by anyone, anywhere.

The fact that these beers (and others) trade for so much is obviously the reason someone was motivated to do something as extreme as this.

I could really care less to be honest. I was just giving you some shit. I think the problem that a lot of people have is that they view beer like a "stock market". A beers worth may be a specific amount or quality of beer in their minds...that amount or quality does not always translate to money...if that makes sense. I understand in monetary terms, its relevant, but in beer terms I think it makes people feel a little uneasy. Almost that you are profiting off of TG...at the same time, I do understand your argument.

 

But back on topic...I was really surprised about the number of people that were blown away by "how could he match the wax!?" Really? He took the wax off the bottles, melted it down and tried to rewax the damned things. If he was matching the wax, he would have dipped the bottles and made it look at least halfway decent. This dude was sloppy in all aspects of the game. Enough people know who he is that if they see him around at events, they'll let it be known.

 

If any of those trades included a VSB, you would be incorrect. So let's just get this train wreck back on track, eh?

 

Did you see the pics of the KBBS? He certainly progressed, so I wouldn't call that one sloppy at all.

Either way, I agree with you. This guy is known around town, so hopefully folks will help set him straight.

 

Lol, he progressed. He's the Heisenberg of fucking people over. At the beginning, his product was of inferior quality. By the time he got caught, people were hooked. Fuck you, beer Heisenberg.
