May be able to grab one at my shop tomorrow. Can get it to you at cost if so. I'll shoot you a BM if I'm able to nab one. Also, @ncaudle might be able to help you out.

In a word, No. Just like regular gbs, and most adjunct stouts, age does not do this one any favors. I've had aged a year, and two years, and have found to just drink it fresh.

If you can get a hold of more than one, I'd say it's certainly worth aging one based on my experience.

I'll completely agree with regular GBS (sadly, still have like 4 or 5 left from a few years back....makes good reductions though..). However, I had a two year old for Thanksgiving and it was outstanding. The booziness almost completely dropped off and the barrel notes came across as vanilla or almost coconut.

I can't remember BGBS ever being boozy... even the non bottled versions back in 2012

Had it on tap at Sedona during a takeover when BA Belgian DIPA was released not too long after it opened (Sedona that is)3 months old maybe? I remembered it as being hotter than it was when I popped it open on turkey day.

Ya that first batch was just tannic and overly oaked, not much bourbon at all. I haven't had it since, is it worth trying to score a bottle if it comes down to the 757?

I like this years BGBS, though it's not big on the barrel treatment - think it tastes like OG GBS

I just saw Christmas Morning on Instagram. I won't make it on Saturday, but will be in RVA on Sunday. Is this going to be a limited release like Trickery (sell out in an hour and that's it)?

It's hitting limited distro. But with the 4 bottle limit, I don't expect this to last the day. There was much less of this and Rum than BA GBS.
