Sounds like the 1 case per variant that Kane had earlier this year. Yes we have limited our 50 cases to one per person. Oh wait 400 people showed up, ok a half case per person, that way at least the 1st 100 people out of God knows can get some. 2nd mistake was only getting 3 of each and being a nice guy. 1st mistake was not getting there at 6am.

 

Hint #2 - target has multiple wants that I should have no problem fulfilling.

 

People like that should be reported. While it's not illegal it is a total bullshit dick move to pull something like this. I'm not surprised in the least as people see this as an investment and exploitation, but we need to do something to stop these people from ruining our passion and hobby so they can make a quick buck.

 

Well thats the issue, no one cares if 100 people buy 100 beers, or 10 people buys 100 beers. For me as a business owner, its my job to make as many people happy as possible. For beer, creating hype just means you'll sell more next year cause the saps that didn't get any this year will be back next year.

 

I didn't get the impression that the mule was profiting just that he was muling for the overall muling group. I think it is a douchy move but only the stores can stop this...limits prevent this kind of thing (I mean you can bring additional people but truly only so many before it becomes obvious what you are doing) but saying no to this behavior has to be merchant/brewery driven.

 

I'm so glad I don't have the ammo for TG! But people suck!

 

Opening my Assassin on Saturday with my tasting group. Wax looks good and I've had it for a few months now so I'm thinking it's the real deal. I'll report back.

Hmm, I told you to surprise me so I have no idea what's in store for me on Friday! Does the tracking for the box I sent say arriving Wednesday? Because that ain't happenin'.

 

Haha, yes it does... and I know it ain't happening... have no idea where FedEx came up with that.

 

This is why I shop at the store I shop at. One bottle limit per day on FW limited releases, Abraxas, BA Biscotti, etc. Makes it easier for me to get a bottle and more people get to share in the great beers.

 

I would be right there with you guys except @Ncpogs and I are switching states this weekend. Gonna be a good time there and not getting BBPt5 will suck but I plan on having a blast in Chicago so I'll be fine.

 

I hate starting 'don't trade with' threads but you need to add @edhizdeid to your list. We agreed to a smallish trade as he wanted some Sunny Side Up. Today I open this:



The Bo & Luke, London Calling and Cherry Funk were the only bottles discussed. The other five are extras including a Dreadnaught?!
