False alarm folks. Upon further research, looks like the latest batch of Sunny Side Up that was released was also 9.5 abv, like the Vietnamese Coffee was, so I assumed it was it (all the other SSU beers on here clocked in at 11% or higher and there were recent reviews of Vietnamese)... Sorry to excite peeps unnecessarily.

Still a damn delicious beer. I finally understand why people keep talking so highly of them. Amazing stuff, was really blown away.

As far as I know the only Vietnamese version of SSU was a cask. I don't think they ever brewed a full batch of Vietnamese Sunny Side Up. If they did, I missed it, and that would make me very sad.

As far as ABV, they dialed that down quite a while back so I could drink more than one of them. (Ok may not be the reason, but they did dial the ABV back a long time ago.)

Coffee stouts are one of my favorite styles. Just love them. I'm a big fan of FBS, WnB, etc. I have to agree, SSU is clearly superior to these. In fact, I did a side by side with SSU and WnB this week. My buddy and I both agreed SSU was better.

SSU is a delicious coffe stout but I'd put it just behind Sump in my all time favorites.

Anyone know if they still have some of the sours available to go? Will be heading up in a couple weeks and wanted to get an idea whether some of the larger bottle counts ones may still be available. Thanks!

Couple weeks might be pushing it, especially for the Abacio's. Decent chance Golden will be there still, which is awesome because I think its one of the best of them all, but the others might be a stretch.

Appreciate the info. Stopping in on the 23rd on the way to Buffalo for the holidays. Fingers will be crossed. At worst I can at least score some awesome growlers of things I'm sure.

I know @siege06nd and I had a pretty solid time at the release this weekend. Pretty well organized overall, though having one operating register really slowed things down. I will say that the complimentary breakfast pizzas were a really nice touch, and went over extremely well with the crowd.

On a side note, the best beer I had this weekend at PB was Boo Berry, hands down. Literally tasted like the milk at the bottom of the cereal bowl. Would've purchased multiple growlers had it been available for fills. Easily one of the best beers I've had this year.

I agree with both of these posts. The 5 bottles mentioned were far and away my favorite from the release.

I'm assuming they've sold out of all their to-go bottles?
