Awesome the original list was so short I was afraid I would end up having to smuggle beer in with me. Holding out hope for some Monster 29.

 

Next thing they change will probably be adding Bourbrum plead the 5th in bottles as part of the carry out list. I'm crossing my fingers anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the original carry out list say at the bottom a TBA 12/13/14? Could this be it?

 

They should do it if anyone shows up before 8am.

 

I'm pretty excited for this. It's my first 4elf, and I've heard a lot of fun (and some not so fun) stories.

 

There are many tales of glory, conquest and despair told. Beware the stories that will never be told for there is no one left to tell them. Damn I've already said to much it could be my turn next. Whatever you do remember beware the pink wristband.
Seriously given the growing attendance of this event every year I've been very impressed by the planning done by the crew at Dark Horse to make this event work.

 

Does anybody have an interest in starting a spreadsheet with beers people are intending to bring for the line shares? I'll make it up on Google Docs, but not if no one will add anything to it.

Maybe it'll be sufficient to suggest what you're bringing in the thread?

I'm bringing along some of the BA bottles from Jackie O's 9th Anniversary Party. Woodburner, Sherry Oil, and Dark Apparition.

 

Then they will end up losing money since they're serving some breakfast themed food.

Screw you buddy, I was planning on bringing similar beers! Sherry Oil and regular Dark App & Oil of Aphrodite.

I'll bring a couple of other beers, but nothing too special. Imperial Biscotti Break & IBB Natale, Wulver, BA Siberian Night, and Pseudo Sue.

 

Does anyone have any knowledge regarding how long it takes to get your order once they start processing them at 11am? I know it goes by numerical order but roughly how many do they go through per hour?

 

I did some rough calculations and it was quicker than the 20 per half hour they say on the site. I think it was around 60 - 80 orders an hour, hopefully they have added staff to speed that up even more this year due to the extra bbpt5 they have.

 

Ok cool. I was hoping it was going to be quicker than what they gave as an example.

 

doesnt that kinda take some of the fun out of it? i get that avoiding doubles is the object but when there are hundreds of people i dont think it matters much. i think its more fun when someone near you breaks out a bottle you werent expecting. i know i want what im bringing to be a surprise. also you dont want people hunting for the person that has such and such rare beer. maybe im wrong but thats just how i was thinkin.
