Ironically enough, a new batch was released just two days ago too. I was halfway tempted to pick one up today so that I could do a side-by-side to see just how much a beer could change in just two weeks. But...I didn't.

I did drink one at just a few days old, and it was awesome. Tonight, it was definitely different, but I can't decide how much the beer has changed (little I would guess) or how much my palate had "changed" as a result of drinking the very delicious Citraholic...

Drago comes from a brewery about 15 minutes from me. Their Drago is their best beer IMO, and as a BA RIS, I think it can hold its own against the big dogs. A new batch came out this week. I am going to try to pick some up tomorrow. If I can grab some, I'll send one from the newer batch so that you can do a side-by side.
Sorry to double up on the Smores (I probably should have paid closer attention to recent pr0n...)--It was a popular release and a quick sell-out at most of my stores (as was the Sure Bet), so I thought that I would take the chance... I hope you enjoy too.
Spiteful Brewery is also a Chicago local and Absinthe-Aged Klutzy Buffoon Saison with Cherries was another fairly limited release. I have a second that I haven't opened yet, but it is so unique that I couldn't help but throw it in.
The Revolutions are a part of the BA series releases during the late fall/winter months. (Sorry again about doubling up on the Deth's Tar--Glad that you can use it in a bottle share!)

Not to worry my friend, a quick check on my 4-elf line up gets us scores of 94,96,97,98.

Plus a couple of MI locals to boot. We'll be just fine (and you need to keep the old man up!)

 

Doubling up just means I get to enjoy it twice as much!

This is the coolest thing ever, the hand written note was a great touch. I think there must be something about people named Nick that just makes them great guys...

I don't think you need to be sorry about doubling up either the Smore or Deth's Tar. Both of those are awesome beers and I'm sure @treznor is gonna love 'em both. As for the Drago, I've never had it before myself. Would you be able to grab me a bottle and hold on to it for when we do our bottle share? I'm not joking about making that happen, need to share that Pirate Bomb with you.

*Edit, apparently, a quick untappd search shows that I have had it once, it had to be at a beer event where I only got a sample. I shall like to try this beer sober and in a full glass next time.

 

Drago is very good and pretty much completely under the radar. I was skeptical at first, but the beer stands up to most BA stouts.
