Before you get flamed to hard go to the great lakes forum and do a search for 'chicago bars' or 'three floyds'...pages upon pages of archived threads will give you all the info you need.

My suggestion for 3 floyd's bottles would be either westlakeview liquors or andersonville liquors. Check out hopleaf, map room, kuma's corner, r.j. grunts etc etc etc

The three that immediately come to mind are Local Option, Map Room, and Hopleaf. Hopleaf is up in Andersonville on the northern side of the city while Local Option and Map Room are relatively close to each other more towards the middle of the city. Local Option and Hopleaf both have had multiple 3 Floyds options on tap each time I've visited. The one time I went to Map Room they didn't, and honestly, I wasn't that impressed with the tap list on that particular day. Still, it's a very cool place worth visiting, and I would go back.

I cannot recommend Revolution Brewery enough. The actual brewery is such a cool place to drink, and I greatly enjoy the vast majority of their offerings. No food here, but you can order from local businesses. They also have a great brewpub in a separate location that does offer food.

Half Acre is small, but they have a lot of good hoppy offerings, and I'd also recommend them as well.

Vas Foremost Liquors on Milwaukee always has Gems-especially PW, HA, Rev, 3FFF. Plus Revolution Tap Room is across the street.

If you want 3FFF on Tape check out Lone Wolf Bar.

Hey Sunday there is a beer release at Half Acre. Big Hugs is coming out. 9AM. That would be a good stop. 3 Floyds is only about 30 min from the city and I know they still have some Chevalier. Binny's South Loop has a decent selection of 3 floyds but they get their shipments on Tuesdays so the best stuff will be gone. But there will be some stuff. BTW at that Binny's the have a good selection of Spiteful and Revolution. Also look for Temperance Gatecrasher. Very good beer. Then there is The Beer Temple. They always have good stuff.

Go to Revolution on Milwaukee or Kedzie. If you're going to be near the southwest burbs hit up Brixies, Friday they are doing a BA tap take over. Also they are FFF fan boys over there so ZD is almost always on tap or at least another IPA/DIPA they do.

Binny's is your best bet. Hop Leaf, Fountainhead, Owen and Engine, Reggies, and Local Option are all great pubs to seek want you want.

Hopleaf is a must especially since mentioned earlier Andersonville Wine and Spirits is across the street. Binnys is an absolute must for bottles although sometimes I think the whole foods get some really fresh FFF. Pipeworks is the big one you want to get when you come up. Their Imperial IPAS are unreal. Oh and if you do go to Half Acre brewing one of the best beer bars Bad Apple is across the street too. I live downtown feel free to ask me a question if you need some more help!

I second checking out binnys for Hoppin Frog (usually have a bunch in stock). FFF is harder to find depending on what you want. I would suggest Local Option as a bar (have a google, they post their menu).

Where are you staying in Chicago? If you are on the north side of the city PM me if you can't find FFF - I can hook you up

Yep Wholefoods is good for fresh FFF 6packs - not sure about way in the city, but where I am their delivery is usually Tuesday or Wednesday and usually sell out by lunch time. Worth a try if you are after Alphaking, but Zombie and Gumball sell out quicker

What brewery are you asking about? He references 5 different breweries in his post. Also, the Big Hugs release is at 11am not 9am. I'll give you the best help possible...Use the search function.
