I've received a couple nice boxes over the past 2 weeks that I haven't partaken from yet so there is going to be some good beers for me to consume this weekend!

In your case though, I don't think I'm being too presumptuous saying this, since we have a tentative trade in the works, but I don't have much trade ammo on hand (most of what I've got is unticked and only have one, so I'm thrilled to share, but hesitant to trade away) and I have little resources to grab stuff between now and when we'll see each other.

 

That's fine -- I can always bring you beer (that I'm saving for you anyway) for "future considerations".

 

Had a few friends over to do some work on my cellar and this happened. Not bad for a Thursday. The growler was Zombie Dust filled the day before in case any of us who think it falls off after a week wanted to know .

 

Again, totally unnecessary, but I'm not in the habit of sending people home with beer that they took the time to bring with them. Be careful about those "future considerations" though, just ask @Clarkson

 

And the Assassin wax job is pretty legit on that one!

I'm also glad to know when it was filled, but how old was the keg? (I really will never live that one down...)

Indeed it was and yes I checked it again before I opened it last night for the 3rd or 400th time since reading that thread.

 

I think the keg was a week or so old so...in hindsight obviously should have drain poured it.

You've got a pretty good eye, but sadly no Yellow Rose this time which is quite alright. There are some real gems in here, and some other things I am incredibly curious to try. No surprise, not a bad looking beer in the box.

 

Dear Target:

I have to warn you, I might not know how to count...

Today I picked up one of the best local beers to come out of VA. Then to top it off, I picked up the BA version too. Both are on your want list. I think I'm up to 5 or 6 just of wants, then a handful more that you just need to have. I'm working on another bottle that is not on your wants, is only available at the brewery (not the same one as the first 2 mentioned beers), and is a must try. If I get that, I'll be boxing up next week for an early XMAS present.
