You can still buy tickets (brow paper tickets) for Framrood and Fox and the Grape being released as part of their Coolship Party then get someone to trustee for you in January.

Rare Barrel is in Berkeley, CA and is pretty much brewery only except a handful of kegs that make it to local establishments. A must stop for sour drinkers in the Bay Area.

you can make a week long trip just trying to visit sour breweries in california. since russian river and rare barrel are on your list you can visit sara in santa cruz, barrelworks in buellton if you decide to make the trek down. in san diego, there's lots of breweries who don't specialize in sours but do put some out: lost abbey, council, modern times, etc.. the state of california is just a good beer destination really.

Everything they do is Belgian inspired (abbey ales and sours)

If you make it to Oregon, De Garde, Ale Apothecary, and Logsdon are highly recommended destinations.

I've been pretty impressed with Rare Barrel. A lot of places in California are jumping into the sour scene. Modern Times did a full on 5 sour beer release recently but I think it's ridiculous for these smaller breweries to be charging $25+ for their sours when they haven't demonstrated they can hang with the likes of Bruery, Jester King, RR, etc.

Who's doing less than $25 per 750 or thereabouts? Almanacs beers are, what, $11 or $12 per 375?

Is the problem more package size than price per ounce?

In addition to stuff mentioned above (though maybe there's some overlap):

Oxbox up in Maine is awesome.
Allagash, for my money, competes with the best of JK ... I often find myself prefering the Allagash.
Avery's sour program is getting stronger and stronger.
Block 15, in Oregon, does a lot of great sours. Unfortunately, rarely available at the brewery since they're in such limited quantities.
Commons & Upright, though more truly about farmhouse beers, have a number of sour (or at least tart and funky) beers.
Firestone - I've been really impressed with some of the bottles coming from the Barrelworks.
Forest & Main isn't too far from you.
Freetail in texas gets way overlooked in comparison to JK. Everything I've had has been really nice.
Jackie O's sours can be hit or miss, but I've had more hits recently.
Two Roads seems to be making a big investment in sours

And, close to you, Transmitter in Queens, seems to be moving in the direction of sours though mostly saisons / farmhouses right now. I've never had their beer but it looks intriguing.

Not in your neck of the country, but Cascade in Portland, OR makes great sour beer.

Millstone Cellars just north west of Baltimore near Gunpowder Falls/Hunt Valley area.

Probably about 2 hr. drive from central Jersey. Not beer, but really funky and sour barrel aged hard cider that had a lot of similar characteristics of most of the barrel aged sour beers IMO. Highly recommend to check this place out, its a really cool place to visit, feels like you enter a time machine back to the 1800's when you step inside this place and do the tour. Free samplings too, can't beat that.

Forest & Main is on the list to visit soon. Also, I have never heard of Transmitter, but I will look into it. Thanks!

I appreciate your help everyone! Made it to Forest and Main about a month ago and Transmitter a few weeks back along with other half and threes in NYC.

Just started planning a trip to the SF area for RR and others.

Close to NJ, there also is Pizza Boy/Al's of Hamden just on the west side of Harrisburg, PA, that has numerous of their own sours and wild ales. I haven't been there yet, but plan to go up sometime in March. Many are highly rated here on BA.
