in town and my bro n law wants to take me out. I want to hit up Iron Goat, but might not get there before they close. He mentioned No-Li.......

Any suggestions? Other places that might have some good stuff on tap (maybe some Abyss)

I was gonna say Iron Goat. The Spoklahoma regulars should have better tips for ya.

Where in Spokane? South Hill you should go to manito tap house. In downtown there are a few good places depending on what you want. No Li is good and given the used to be named northern lights until AB threatened suit they are on if the best craft beers in the city.

No-Li was never threatened with a suit. They found out about an A-B affiliated concern also named Northern Lights, sent them a letter to ask if it was a problem. This was ignored. They (No-Li) had already decided to make a big expansion push, so they decided to change their name pretty much out of fear that A-B would come down on them after they spent money on expansion and marketing.

Dammit. If I saw this in time I'd have suggested you buy a bottle or two of No-Li at a supermarket and go to Iron Goat instead, unless you dig Belgians, in which case Ramblin' Road would have been a good bet, at which point if you still really wanted to try No-Li you'd have been about a block away.

Hills on Washington and Main has 2013 and 2014 Abyss right now. $7 for 6oz pours of each. Awesome food too. Post Street Ale House has B-Bomb on tap as well.

Due to a combination of dieting and trying to save money, I haven't popped into Hills for a while, but I concur about the food. Only ten taps but always something tasty on. Steve seems to have a pretty good relationship with Deschutes (only place in Spokane where I've found Dissident on-tap) and seems to excel at hiding away kegs of Abyss. I think he's done 3-yr verticals on more than one occasion.

I mentioned it too late for OP. Nobody else thought of it, apparently, but it might well have been too late in the evening to hit them.

Rosaures(sp?) on University had it last week for a great price. Not sure about now though. They also had the KDS varietals.

There is also a new bar called Area 51 opening sometime this week (maybe today?). 51 taps and 51 bottles. Looks cool.
