Just had a growler of 15th the other week and it was drinking amazing. Still super bitter and awesome.

Awesome, an IPA that's healthy at the same time!

I have a feeling Dayman will return in this new series of revisits. Stone knows from countless online feedback expressed here and on FB just how badly folks long for the return of the Champion of the Sun!

I still have a bottle of this from last year, anyone had one of these recently?

Actually I just noticed that the ABV on the left side of the picture I posted says 10.1% while the picture of the bottle says 9%. So not sure the ABV now!

I had an Espresso IRS on Thanksgiving and it tasted awesome, even better than I remembered. I bought a case when it was released and still have at least 6 left.

Hopefully they bring back Mint Chocolate Stout. That was pretty awesome.

I have a new bottle of this in my fridge to drink during the NFL playoffs tomorrow. It says 10.1% ABV on it.

    Regarding green tea IPA's,

Elysium Jasmine IPA was great imo.

I import 10-15 various strains of high mountain tea from China every year and will be experimenting with my own after my lagers are done.

Definitely going to be on the lookout for this.

Kind of wish that Stone had an acurrate beerfinder app of some sort, especially for the limited releases.

Always been a huge fan of their products.

Also, Chinese Green Tea is better than Japanese.

They do the variants during odd years. Odd beers for Odd years.

Sounds like 2015 is gonna be an interesting year for Stone. Not that they usually don't, of course. Color me very intrigued for this offering and many others to come.

Mint or chocolate would be awesome. The Old Guardian this year is extra hoppy. I could see that going with the IRS too but I'd rather some of those other options.

I bet a lager with a nice grassy or nutty green tea could be very good.

There's a small brewery in Beijing, Great Leap, that does a few Pale Ales and IPAs with tea, and they're quite interesting.

I'll be looking to try this one from Stone/Baird/Ishii.

Does anyone know the distribution footprint for this beer? I live in Grand Rapids and we get about two thirds of their special releases
