Call me old fashioned but I love this ale. Went to Christmas Town in Williamsburg this past weekend and they had it flowing on tap. Where can you buy it? I never see it in Virginia. This was the first time I have had it in years.

Winter Classics mix pack or as singles if a store around you sells them that way. If not, you'll have to suffer some Boston and Winter Lagers along with White Christmas. If you get the case, you also get Chocolate Bock, though.

I'm excited because I never would have thought they put it in draught. Anybody know how widely available it is around Mass?

Fezziwig is one of those SA beers that they should just sell by the case.

I understand that they’d likely need to hike up the price a bit but I’d certainly get a case every December.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off topic but I could not avoid noticing your Budd Dwyer avatar. You must be a Keystoner by birth.

Am I the only one who doesn't get the hype with this beer? It's OK, as in slightly better than Winter Lager. Do yourself a favor and drop $11 on a 6 pack of Schlafly's 8%abv Christmas Ale or something similar.

Just had it tonight actually! Loved it. My dad picked up a winter pack for my visit. Too bad there was only 2 in the mixed pack.

Yea, definitely one of their best brews. Sucks that they don't have em' in sixers and twelves.

I am a big Old Fezzwig fan. Just not a fan of having to buy the variety pack to get it. It should be sold in a seasonal six or, even a bomber like Merry Maker. I also agree with @johnnybgood1999 that you should grab a sixer of Schlafly's Christmas Ale, as well.

Personally, I'd take a Boston Lager over a Fezziwig.

I used to love Old Fez. It's been a while so I don't know how much I'd still appreciate now but I'm sure it's still tasty. Holiday Porter was good back in the day too.

Considering that they have been making it for a very long time and it used to be available by the case, I think maybe the market disagrees with you

It surprises me that any brewer that has a mix pack does not make them available in sixers. The mix pack is a perfect advertisement for the beer. The only mix packs I buy more than one of is those with 4 good beers. There are very few of these. However I would commonly buy a six of my favorite from most mix packs I have bought. I buy a mix to try the 4 beers. In this scenario I expect at least one mediocre beer. After I have tried them I have no need to suffer through the mediocre beer anymore.

I don't understand why Sam Adams puts something like Harvest Pumpkin in six packs but not Old Fezziweg. If it came in sixers, I'd pick up at least a case every holiday season.

I don't have a clue what the numbers are, but I'd guess the answer is sales figures.

@bluehende and @keithmurray They used to sell solo sixpacks in the winter. This is on my list of reasons why I liked various prior years in the craft beer boom better than now.

I'm so tired of the mixed pack situation to get Old Fezzi that I'm done buying them. Plus, there's the nagging memory of being able to buy it in the past, solo sixpacks.

I thought the Sam Winter Pack always had the Chocolate Bock, Old Fez and Honey Porter...didn't see the Porter this year

Or maybe the market agrees with him, and the fact it's so popular they're being smart, and including it ONLY in the mix pack in order to sell more of those. Personally, there were many years in which I talked myself into buying the mix pack (accepting the mediocre beers) simply to get some Old Fezziwig. Or, I'd be more willing to try a new offering in the mix, because I knew how much I loved Old Fezziwig.

One year, I found a six pack of Old Fezziwig from a broken up case, and never bought the variety pack that year because I didn't need to.

I felt this way too, but then I had a holiday party to attend, so I bought the mix pack for the party, and held onto the two Old Fezziwig's for myself. Only having two in this mix pack is criminal in my opinion. First removing the porter, then reducing the amount of Old Fezziwig.

AND ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING WHITE ALES, YOU SIMPLY DON'T KNOW HOW TO BREW ONE

I'm proud of you! I'd have done the same dang thing! I am totally in favor of and ,do share beer every chance I get. This is clearly one of those rare instances of the needs of the few far exceeding the need of the many ...
