My math skills are fine, it's my reading comprehension skills that need work. Forgot about the mixed sixers. Sorry, fellas. Carry on.

Could it be the Great Flood of 2014? I remember seeing a sad picture of their basement *floating* around, pun intended.

No. That's not where they store their aging barrels, and either way, that would've only effected the 2014 batch, not the 2013 release.

They had a 6 bottle limit on BB4D in 2013, and they sold out that day. I would be shocked if there were 300 people that bought the max allocation of bottles that day, so the absolute upper limit for 2013 BB4D bottling would be in the neighborhood of 1800 bottles based on my guess. That's still 50% higher than what they're releasing this year.

I would love to know bottle counts from 2010 to 2014, because in my mind way more BB4D hit the market from 2010 to 2012 than in 2013 or 2014.

It most definitely was higher back then as there were no limits on cases at least in 2010/2011, they had it to go for at least through spring and bottles went into distribution. I used to pick up regular 4D pretty often as well from stores for 19.99/4 pack.

Same here. I also bought BB4D from my local store for $23.99/4-pack.

    The good old days....

The good OLD days was buying 6 packs of 4th Dementia at Merchant's/Discount Drinks for like $11.99. 4 packs for $14.99 - $19.99 wasn't bad either a few years later.

Hilarious how this completely reverses my original plans to skip the release but drink everything in sight on Friday night. Still probably showing up on Friday, though. Solstice and FGR, along with Imperial Mud are calling my name.

I have a feeling Kuhnhenn will be throwing on some surprises on Friday they haven't announced. Saturday will be great don't get me wrong.

"These will be tapped at 4pm on Friday 12/19. In some instances, we may only have one keg of a certain beer - this means when it kicks, it kicks. Pour size will be determined based on how much of each beer we have, as we want them to spread the love to as many friends as possible. As limited beers run out in the tent, they will be replaced with regular menu beers (or something like that...)"

    Full Saturday List:

    BB Old Village Stock Ale
    Bouron Barrel 4th Dementia

And dumb question (maybe I missed it), but what is an old village stock ale?

Great question! I'm just excited to visit a brewery that doesn't pump out different variations of the same IPA/PA.

And dumb question, but do all the crazies line up super early and the locals head straight to the taps?

    ^Was wondering the same.

I just want to grab a couple 6pks. Is it feasible to get a pour of something and then line up/get bottles without issue?
