Completed prop 14 and vanilla rye trades

Two trades:

Vanilla and a mixed BCBS 4 pack (2 reg, 1 BW 1 Coffee) for Fou Foune and a 375 Bio. My very generous trading partner killed the extras - he included a 2nd 375 Guezue and a 750 De Cam Lambic. I look forward to returning that favor.

Prop and Rev. Bean Gene for a West Ashley & Saison Du Fermier and a DeGarde Blend No. 2 as an extra

I did Vanilla Rye for '13 prop 1:1.

 

Ive been considering this as well. Have Vanilla, looking for that old faded Prop.

 

I'd do that all day long. faded my ass.

 

I wouldn't trade a 13 Prop for 2 VR the latter is not nearly as good.

 

I completely agree. Vanilla has the higher ceiling for aging potential though so if you weren't looking to drink something like this in the relatively near future Vanilla might be the better beer in a year or two? Only time will tell I guess.

 

You are probably right dtjager I have 1 bottle and have no plans on drinking it anytime soon. I had it on tap in Chicago and was underwhelmed to say the least.

 

I've been trying to land the combo. Just put up a Veritas 14 + Rum Black Tuesday for them. Is that off?

 

I just extra'd a Vanilla out to a regular trading partner, so apparently I don't know how to play this game.

I'm thinking of trying to trade another Vanilla and maybe a + for a fresh case of Zombie Dust, though. Trade for what you want to drink; the rest will work itself out.
