Tied sales is dirtball shit and anyone who thinks it's fine is part of the problem.

I wasn't a fan, but if I was going to have to buy something at least it was a fresh beer. I figured he would have made people buy old stock and I probably would have walked away at that point.

Maybe I will luck out and a CBS keg will be tapped when I am in town. My local watering hole is sure to tap it while I am in Rochester, just my luck!

Hey Jason K, if you're going to post my comment in FCBAA, why don't you comment on here too?

Possibly because I wasn't aware of this forum until it was posted elsewhere.

You say that like it 's a bad thing? I'm not trying to start anything, I just think that that group had done a lot for the local industry.

I'm guessing that you're also a member of that group to know about that post?

I dropped that FCBaa from my newsfeed for similar reasons. Too many people bickering over a moot point. It was special when it was launched and then lost it's luster when the group was watered down by 2000+ people. I don't care that you are drinking a Saranac Pale Ale with your bowl of chicken soup. Also everyone wants to become some sort of F(#%ing beer photographer, I'm soo sick of all of the edgy looking pictures from the bar or counter top. Enough with the bottle cap sitting upright against the poured beer in the glass.

The truck chasers have gotten out of control in this market, I'm guessing that page has a heavy influence on it too. On 3 different occasions I was able to find BCBS on the shelf 2 weeks later out side this market.

    This times a million

I gues it's cool more people are into craft. I really dont care though. Not cool though to post braggin photos of how much limited beer you hoarded. This in turn encourages others to do the same creating this competitive environment.

@ Danielle Ballard. Thanks for being a troll and playing along. My point is there are way too many posts and it clogs my news feed. I dropped 3 beer groups for the same reason. This is no different than getting 50 e-mails a day as spam and un-subscribing.

Well stated rocbrew in terms of the gloating pics that only make a bad situation worse......go ahead and chase the trucks, but don't post the photos with the "score" that only makes other people feel like they need to buy out the limited edition stuff too instead purchasing what they are going to consume.

as for FCBaa, as the group has grown the mentality has changed.....but, there are still lots of good posters that add value.....you just have to navigate around a few knuckleheads.
