In the world of $20+ barrel aged Imperial Stouts, yeah, it really does. Have you looked at the grading curve of Bourbon Barrel Aged American Double/Imperial Stouts and Russian Imperial Stouts?

Besides that, it is average for the style. I don't care what the ratings and hype say.

If you are paying $20+ you are overpaying. And average for the style would be your opinion in this case... average ratings of 685 people say its well above average.

Yeah, I never said it was anything but my opinion. Was that confusing to you?

As for price, I've never seen it for less than $20 per bottle but that is again, one man's experience.

Look at the average rating for Imperial Stouts and look at the average rating for barrel aged Imperial Stouts. Very few barrel aged imperial stouts under a 4.0.

Where are you getting these average ratings from? Are you talking about a single average rating for all -bal imperial stouts and all regular imperial stouts? I'm really confused.

Amen. Every time I try to add an untried beer to a trade box as an extra, it manages to find its way into the fridge moments later.

Hmm I have heard of it being as high as $18 in SD. I bought mine for about $15. I have heard of it being as low as $12.50 in a different state. So what bal- aged RIS at $15 for a bomber do you recommend? Taking a quick peep at your reviews it looks like you may not enjoy the style all that much, at least compared to others.

Check by style and rating, you've been around long enough to know how to use the site.

i don't need to provide evidence for an unproven statement you made.

i think it's clear you simply made some off-the-cuff idiotic claim and can't back it up. we can leave it at that.

No, he's saying that he wants an actual analysis over the style, not just "click on the link and scroll through numbers." The latter is useless.
