Swing top and screw top. I've had both. I hug and drink same day.

Regardless, seems as if most people see differences here and there.

Had this beer on-tap today and yeah, it is really good, heavy citrus and floral notes, yet, extremely drinkable and not overly bitter like a lot of IPAs. Also it has a great aroma to it, I wish they made an air freshener that smells like this beer. I would like to try it as fresh as possible though, it seemed pretty fresh but I can't really tell when I'm trying a beer for the first time.

So, are they actually dating bottles now (per D&Q's tweet earlier today)?

    If so, that's awesome.

I hope that was a bottled on date and not an enjoy by date as tweeted

I think D&Q just wrote the date on them themselves, not actually dated by the brewery

Right. That's why I was asking whether or not if anyone knows they are really dating them or not. Wouldn't be the first time a tweeted picture was a practical joke.

Regardless, hope they are doing it.

I picked up some Wrought Iron IPA this weekend by Abita and was surprised how much it tastes like YR. Probably the best thing I have had from Abita. It is not quite as good as YR but it is a decent replacement if you can't find YR or want something cheaper and in a 12oz format.

I agree with you. The best thing Abita has put out IMO.

+1 for Abita Wrought Iron IPA. It's hard to believe this is made by Abita and may become my everyday go to.

Had Yellow Rose today along with Enjoy By 12-26-14.... I enjoyed Yellow Rose much, much more... though Enjoy By is amazingly clear.... but not nearly as delicious.

After it not being available around here for two weeks, it finally showed back up. :grinning: Had a growler to myself on Tuesday and have a bottle in my fridge for Christmas Day. My depression has lifted! Life is good again!

I have not had any problem finding it.. between D&Q and the various HEB and Whole Foods within a 10 mile radius of my house someone always has it.

YR is my go to growler fill. It is consistently around $12 for a 64oz fill ($3 more than a bomber). I actually used YR to test out my new growler that can be charged with CO2 to see how it would perform. It did great.
