So this is the porch crusher that @PG2G dropped on me this afternoon. I mentioned in the thread a couple weeks ago that I was a fan of the FW sours that I'd had so far, so we worked out a trade...



The trade was for the FW sours and the Alesmith VSS, but ya know he had to go and drop Four Roses Eclipse, Mexican Cake and a bunch of other ridiculous goodies on me as extras. Absolutely ridiculous haul full of wants and should be wants. Thanks @PG2G !!

So I've never had Cantillon, but I feel like my first chance might be from a friend who recently moved to Germany fairly close to the border to Belgium that I jokingly convinced that the next time he comes home he needs to bring me some.... so we will see if he actually follows through lol

 

That Cantillon is making my pants expand.

 

I think you have, I poured Cantillon Iris at @PA-Michigander's house... did you for some reason pass on that?

Also, that's an awesome hookup, and for the love of god convince him harder! No matter which (or, within some modicum of reason, 'how much') he brings from them, I will take it off your hands if for any reason you don't want it when it arrives.

 

Banger, right? I still go that you prefer that to Heady (not that I dislike it, but my preference goes to Heady) .... then again, I prefer Alpha King to Zombie Dust, and I know that's an unpopular opinion too.

Tell us more about the #rootbeerwalez too! I've never seen a root beer with a swingtop, that's awesome.

 

I don't recall having cantillon, though I attempted to tick everything I had on here... so either I didn't have it, or I forgot to tick it. Of course that share was before I decided to get back on untappd

 

For Focal Banger I prefer the taste of orange to grapefruit. Crusher and Ourobouros were both delicious too.

My daughter drinks the rootbeer and I'm afraid her reviews are limited to mmmmm that's good. Although if she doesn't power through that swing top I see a share in my future.

That makes sense, I don't remember getting a lot of orange from Focal Banger when I had it, my notes say more pine; it also was a few weeks (maybe over a month? not sure, wasn't my can) when I tried it. I also seem to remember thinking that Focal was a bit drier whereas heady is very juicy, which I like. Wouldn't mind revisiting it but Lushious and Beelzebub are higher priorities since I've never ticked them.

I'm pretty sure you did try it, I remember someone saying they'd never had Cantillon before and I was very happy to help solve that problem for them. Very possible it wasn't you that said that, but I think it was.

Wow, lots of catching up to do. All I can say is, coming back from a business trip and having a box waiting on my desk, and another one at my home, awesome feeling! And both boxes were just great. I won't keep you hanging like some, @Mikexw , so without further adieu

@devilfluff and his awesome LIF box that include a very awesome piece of glassware! And I've never had Nelson or any Carton so this was extra sweet.

I just did a LIF for the hell of it, but I will be doing another in February for my birthday to continue to good times, so stay tuned.

And then there's @UcDru coming through with another cream my jeans type box with #properglassware. That's three new glasses in my last three boxes (props to @cultclassic89 ). You guys are starting to spoil me. I know we talked about a Pirate Bomb+ for a 6 pack of NYFRB and a 10% NYFRB, and then he just went overboard.
