Ohio House Bill 391 proposes to increase abv on Beer to 21%. If this passes it will open the door for OH to land many great brews that we currently can't get because of the current 12 % limit. It only takes a minute or two to fill out. Just follow the simple instructions. Thanks. http://www.ohiocraftbeer.com/news/hb391.cfm?action=search
We'll all sign it and it'll get swept under the rug again?? Just my guess, as much as I want to see it happen. Then again, I lean toward the pessimistic side...
Yep. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but unless congressmen from both sides get on board, it's a fight we're going to lose time and time again.
Just like our fight here in Indiana to get sales on Sunday. At least we can go to local breweries and pick up growlers now. I will help by signing. I find myself in OH quite a bit; and would love to be able to pick up even more beer that I can't get in Indiana.
As a consumer, I need the government to protect me from myself. How am I supposed to know how much alcohol I'm drinking? On beverages like wine and liquor, sure I'm able just look at ABV. But in beer the ABV is always 4.5% and I have no personally responsibility to verify otherwise, nor the mental capacity to do so. Those evil craft beer companies are the reason for my DUI and domestic abuse.
