Hell yes. I don't think much made it to Illinois, but I was lucky enough to pick up a sixer back in October. There were two sixers left, and I regret that I didn't buy both!

But I do appreciate 1 out of your 6 pack @BeerGreg ... and the beer was awesome!

Bottles of Grapefruit Sculpin have hit Long Island, unfortunately cant find the bottled on date anywhere. Looked in usual spot, but impossible to read and what I can see doesn't look like the julian date they usually have. Sculpin falls off fast, this is one that I need to know date of to buy. Not sure why these West Coast breweries continue to send their beer east, no date, I am not buying. Will head to my local brewery and get what I know is fresh beer.

I picked up one the other night in Central NY and I swear I saw a best by date on there of something like April 2015.

Fantastic beer. maybe not as fresh as you'd like, but certainly worth trying.

I also picked up a sixer today in New York. On the very bottom of the bottle (and I could only make it out in natural light) mine reads 323-D1-0116. While I am not exactly sure what that means I hope that it means that the bottle was 'born on' Nov 19th (323 day of the year)...which would make it one month old.

It landed this week. Seems to have sold out in the supermarkets but you could probably land a case this weekend if you make some phone calls..

My apologies for the bump, but hasn't anyone seen (or heard of) the canned release of this beer?

I've only seen bottles of it. I felt like it was just straight grapefruit juice half way through very much so. I'd take regular all day.

Just had a bottle of this for the first time. A delicious IPA. My girlfriend hated which further drives my love for it since she won't be snagging any of it. Can't wait to try the canned version.

Having a bottled one now, love this and the regular...usually but which ever one is fresher. Still waiting to see cans, but happy to see bottled batches about every 3-5 weeks.

I can see this being a great one to bring to the pool or beach in cans this summer. But it's just so damn expensive here in nc. I just picked up a 6 for 14.99.

Thanks buddy. I found it. Not as clear and bright as the link and example shows. My numbers are super faded, this can't be normal (if I knew how to upload pictures, I would post one). Looks like I got one from dec 16 (I think I am able to detect, day 350 on one of the bottles.). It is pretty rare to find a beer, in particular an ipa, that is under 3 months old in my town - not sure if it's the stores, the distributors, or the breweries to blame on this. I am still suspicious of this store. Regardless, not trying to thread-jack, grapefruit sculpin is the bomb in my book - should make a post in "what beer you are drinking now" because it is this.

Yeah Ballast just released it a month or two it seems. It was no where to be found in So Cal for a while and within the last month it's everywhere. So December sounds about right.

Still no sight of the cans. Maybe next time I go to one of their locations I'll ask. BP Homebrew Mart is my go to homebrew supply place.

It's been showing up in the Chicago area for the last week or so. I'm glad to have tried it (its ok) but I prefer the regular Sculpin.
