BCS Variants on Long Island

A few places got Abraxas this week..saw it between $25-$28
Picked one up for $25

Hicksville B&S just received BCBCS..1pp

How come Hicksville got BCBCS at this time of the year? Is it more likely the brewery was holding onto a stash to trickle out over a few months or if its on the disttibutors end?

They got one case in December, so I don't think the owner was just sitting on extras. I talked to him and he seemed pretty irked that he got the same allocation as other stores in the area that sold 1/3rd of GI products that he did. And that makes perfect sense to me.

 

As a reply to my own post, it seems it may be on the distribution end. Monarch in LB also received a case of BCBCS this afternoon. Went in to look for some Hopslam but was treated to some fresh Dirtwolf and a bottle of BCBCS.

 

coffee is on other places on LI today too. a "second round" went out this week.

How much are bottles of BCBCS going for?

 

I paid $11.99. Funny because the first round I paid $7.99.

Oh well, I really wanted another bottle and was willing to pay a bit extra for one so much later after the initial release. If there is a store selling it for cheaper than $11.99 I may go pick another bottle up if I have time.

 

Superstar Beverages in Huntington has the BCBCS. 2 bottle limit.
