I've heard it's replacing Brett d'or as their base golden, with Brett moving to aged hops or possibly their first cool ship beer.

Anyone else noticing the difference between draft and bottles with a few of the newer releases? Draft has been exceptional.

I was told that I might want to let the Cassis might sit in the bottle for 4-6 weeks

Yeah they told me last week the same. L'Brett will transition to an aged hop beer more along the lines of gose whereas Flor D'Lees will be the fresher hop replacement base beer.

And I know Cassis is sweet right now but I am still enjoying the hell out of it!

It is still fantastic. I'm drinking the hell out of the bottles I've picked up.

I hope you meant gueuze. I can't drink gose all year round.

Sitting at The Source right now and the Surette Cassis is drinking amazingly! So much sweet cherry flavor with just the right balance of tartness. Amazing.

Did they have many bottles of the Cassis left? I have been stupidly taking my time with this one and I hope it's not too late...

If it's anything like the last few releases, it should be hanging around at stores for several weeks to come, which is not a bad thing at all..

Definitely wouldn't sleep on the Cassis though. It's one of my recent favorites

But what am I the 10 guy to already say this?

Looked like plenty of Cassis left when I was there but don't sleep on it! Get yourself a pour and buy a few bottles for later. Apparently the bottles are a bit heavy on priming sugar sweetness right now - still tasty but will taper down a bit after a few more weeks.

I was told it was the smallest bottle count of the recent releases.

    Thanks everyone!

Couldn't wait, so I went to the Source last night. Still had about 40 bottles, but they said they will be getting more. Fantastic beer!

Surette Cassis is the best public release beer CS has put out this year, IMHO.

Agreed. I always enjoy CS releases, but when I took my first sip of that Cassis yesterday, I was blown away at how good it was. I'm gonna need to buy more bottles of this one...
