    Just think about what IPAs in Wisconsin looked like a few years ago compared to now. Ridiculous. /old man post

    Headhunter seems more like an old school West Coast IPA, with high bitterness from tons of early hops and a more full bodied malt bill. Sculpin is the new school West Coast, with a lighter malt body and a ton of flavor and aroma hops. This is just my opinion, and I absolutely love both beers!

    Launch week will be taking place sometime in January, we are waiting on the license approval.

    We have talked with a few bars and liquor stores for some launch events, but is there anywhere that you guys think is an absolute must stop for the Ballast Point crew during launch week?

    Saw some tags on Woodman's shelf a week ago for Ballast Point, but no beer. Any word on the launch date for off premise stores yet?

    As soon as the license is approved a truck will leave the brewery with a few days travel time until it hits Wisconsin. I will post in this thread when we expect beer to start shipping out to Wisconsin accounts.

    So we won't see it until February because I assume either Beechwood or Beer Cap is distributing your product and those guys let stuff sit in their overcrowded warehouses with the best of them.
