    A friend of mine just handed me a Adelbert's Naked Nun Barrel Aged Wit bottled on 4/8/2013. He said "here, take this, it's been sitting in my basement for over a year, I'll never drink it, but I know you'll appreciate it!!

    To drink or not to drink??? That is the question.....

    Haha, well from what I've read, wit beers don't typically age well

    Barrel aged ones do. La Petite Mort by Central Waters is a good example of that!

    Well of course I'm going to drink it!

    I've never had a wit beer that old........ its more of a question of how do these beers age. Just a curious question and looking for feedback. Cheers to all!

    I drank a 12yr old Belgian wit last year from a brewery that closed down mid 2000s. It was fine, albeit a little flat.

    Drink it. There's no point in asking if you should, either you'll like it or you won't.
