THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! Sad to see @blue-dream (who issued my challenge to me) was not able to participate, he above all else was who I was trying to torture as payback for making me beer-waterboard myself (so much worse than shotgunning, by the way)

I know that bottle doesn't get the attention of most of the challenge bottles we've seen between BIAB II or @blue-dream challenges, but it's got 6 GABF medals (3 gold) under its belt, so I know it won't be a disappointment

Challenge completed! @emottram The challenge gave me two options............I chose the getting my picture taken with Santa option......I flipped from doing the other challenge option......because hey it's Christmas.

So here is a picture of two old guys........

My target has been picked and I am assembling the box. But I may have to rethink shipping options as I may be flagged

A box that I put much thought and a lot of my heart into as a payback / thank you / Christmas box for @dust_bunny is "somewhere" between getting sent back to me and in permanent limbo b/c it contained something people should not ship.

I can't describe how crestfallen I am.............this might be a game changer for me.

That's a huge bummer man, we all know that risk is part of the game, but I can't imagine how I'd feel being on the wrong end of that risk. Risk of breakage/theft in transit is bad enough, but at least insurance covers those things. Best of luck getting your beer back (and then getting it to its intended recipient by way of a different carrier )

This is a tragedy and while I can't explain to everyone how crushed I am about this box in particular that has been in the works for quite some time has met such a terrible fate like this. @Mipper in no way as I know I have already stated to you is this your fault in any shape, way or form it just so happened to be one of the worst boxes it could have happened to I feel like fedex is the grinch right now who just stole Christmas... I'm trying to stay positive about the situation and hope that they are going to send it back to Eric as the only worse ending would be that the beer was just destroyed. God I hate FedEx so much right now, there is not words that can do justice or describe how much I despise them right now You do look good on Santas Lap though Eric and that made me laugh.
