In any case-

Here's my Christmas even tradition. Always, always, a prime rib, done on the grill, with an Allagash sour, and a Mother Earth Silent Night to cap it.. Lovin' it.

That prime rib looks insanely good. I've been craving it for like a month too and nowhere that I'm familiar with (and isn't super expensive) even makes it.... my favorite place for like 10 years closed a while back and I have yet to find a replacement.... this might have been the spark I needed to make my own.

I'm still dealing with VTech toys, so not a ton of assembly, yet... But I've got a huge train/car track/set to put together tomorrow night since we are doing our christmas then.. Not really looking forward to it, but with the help of you guys, I think I can get through it, and not have a ton of parts left over.

 

BM me man, it's super easy.. Even in an oven, and less than 2 hours of actual cooking.. I do mine on the egg with some post oak for a subtle smoke tinge, but.. I'm addicted to it. Eat it once a year, but it's a splurge!

Awesome man, will do whenever I get the chance to pick up the materials; no sense learning what to do now just to forget by then. So hungry now, I'll have to drink some beer to make me forget. (Or maybe I'll eat some bbq leftovers instead..... 'instead'.... yeah right)

BBQ sounds good.. I've got a 7# pork shoulder i'm going to put on in about an hour or so, and let it cook all night at around 225.. Should be good mid morning when I feel well enough to get my ass up and pull it off, and feed the kids some breakfast. Gonna show down on some southern style pulled pork for lunch.

I CAN bomb porches with beers, AND dry ice packs of bbq.. ya know.

 

How is it? I've got one bottle.. I want to drink it.. yesterday.

Once again I need the "Double Like" button. In my case "bbq" means "leftover ribs and bbq wings from the local bbq joint" ... damn tasty, but they're leftovers so I'm not as excited as I should be.

I'm also seriously considering having one of the TX boys dry ice ship me some beef rib and brisket from Killen's. I guess now is the time of year to do it since the weather will only help matters.
