    I lived in Germany from July of 11 to July of 14. I made numerous trips to Belgium to buy Cantillon. My last haul I went to the brewery in Brussels. I think this cost around $13 or so at the brewery.

    Merry Christmas, all! I have duty today, so there will be no imbibing of intoxicants or partaking of potable pleasures until tomorrow. I will, however, celebrate vicariously through you all - and hopefully get to face time with my kids, who are in Florida.

    I did, however, get my taste of a White Christmas by visiting Vermont yesterday. The rather expensive haul was posted in the appropriate thread (some of which will be going to friends, trade partners, et al - but most of which will be going down my throat). One beer seemed appropriate for the occasion and, knowing that today would be dry, I enjoyed last night (too late to post):

    Santa came & brought me a new smoker & some chocolate milk stouts from 4 Hands, plus a Mason Jar Glass. Meat is already on the smoker, letting my old one fly one last mission. Now we get to figure out where to put a 71" x54" Kevin Durrant Fathead in my youngest's bedroom:astonished: Starting with a Founders Breakfast Stout...

    That is awesome! The last time I bought a bottle at a bar I frequent was 50 dollars. I would still put out 50 bucks for this brew!
