day 2 of the 12 days of beermas. trying to dome this bad boy. shocked im the 3rd person to post this today.

 

Yeah I kinda don't want to "waste" a bottle that so loudly screams to be shared (it's not part of a 12 Days anything, just a bottle I own), but I'm seriously tempted to open mine just to be part of the "stupid people party"

That looks so damn good. Stop talking about this silly red wine nonsense though! I guarantee there's a beer that pairs well with that. I'm thinking oyster stout, dark and roasty to go with the meat, a bit briny to complement the shellfish. If not that, then a dark, wine barrel sour (Consecration maybe?) for the same reason you'd drink a red wine.

How many people can we get to open bottles tonight? I know the other ones were part of the 12 beers BIF but if we got everyone in this thread with a BT to drink one tonight, I think that would be epic!!! hahahaha

Edit: I do have a bottle (thanks to @ThreeFishes) and would do this if more people did. I think though this might be a bad/crazy idea. But on the other hand, those are usually the best...idk. Lol

 

haha, amazing! im on glass #2. its going to my head already as that first one went down quick. might need to force this one to go down slow.

 

I recently got one, first and only BT... I'd open it tonight and dome it solo, but I'd need a show of hands for someone that would trade me another bottle.

I understand the frustration. But my wine collection is way way more extensive than my beer collection. And on Christmas, I open the biggest, baddest boy I got.

Haha yeah, I only have one bottle as well, first and only BT. I would do it without a trade, cuz beer and stuff. Though, I do have a friend that has a 2010 and another that is getting this years.

 

I would if I had planned on it earlier--1/2 way into my 2nd big bottle of 9+%abv, a BT at this pint would do damage plus I'd waste a lot of good beer when I fell over later on tonight.

My only job for Xmas dinner was to heat the lasagne up in our oven and take it over to my sister-in-laws. Ever seen what a tray of lasagne dropped on the sidewalk looks like? Luckily I was able to salvage most of it. The good news? Pretty sure I've got dinner roll duty next year. Alcohol was not a factor in my clumsiness.
