Your personal beer ticking for 2014

Good God. By my count, I've rated (and reviewed most of) 743 beers since 1/1/14.

 

After finally signing up in March, I have logged 633.

 

38 new beers in one year? Any real Ticker knows that number is PATHETIC!

But I'm not nearly as obsessed with total numbers as most Craft Beer hobbyists tend to be. I almost always review/score each new beer using a wire-bound notebook (HEY! I'm old, and not everyone first inputs data to PDA/smart-thingamabob) and later enter 'em here over the course of one day each month. A cuppla trades every so often round out the experience.

 

329 with a few more to add over the weekend/NYE.

 

I started untapped July 29th 2013 and as of right now I have 2077 distinct beers. I have a wonderful GF that allows each vacation/trip to involve beer....she is an enabler but shes mine. I Love to try everything I can as it gives me something to do since kids are grown and out the house.

 

191 so far this year, but still have a couple days so that will go up. I like trying different beers and love going "beer hunting" on vacations.

 

501 new beers for the year! Did not realize it was going to be that high. Haha. Have a lineup for NYE that will bring that number up still.

 

1,129...I'm slipping...my goal was 100 a month.

 

Still a week left in the year ya know

 

I am a complete amateur at about 25 a month.

 

Might do 20 or 30 this week, but not 70....even though I do like a challenge.

 

Wow. 553 new beers this year. No wonder I'm fat and broke.

It looks like I've had 106 new ones this year. I recently had my 200th overall different beer on 12/23. My 23rd bday was the 24th so from 2012-2014 I've had a total of 201 different beers.

 

342 by my count here.

Almost one per day - I would not have thought it was even close to that high.

288 according to Untappd, however I'm going to guess ~15 or so of those I had tried before I ever started using Untappd.

 

You piqued my curiosity, so I took a peek. As of today, 230. I really want to be able to refine and trust my reviewing skill so I can score with more than just how much I liked a beer and would I drink it again. Maybe someday posting in the New Beer Sunday thread.

 

Wow, i hadn't really thought of this in those terms, but since I rejoined BA in July after a years-long absence, all 426 of my beer ratings are since July. Of course, some of them were for beers I'd had in the past and knew well, and wasn't necessarily what I was drinking at the moment. Still, ticked a lot of new boxes this year.

 

I had unique beer #500 on Untappd on 12/30/13. Right now, I'm on unique beer #1154 so I guess that puts me right at 654 and counting (minus whatever I had on 12/31 last year anyway). I'm SoCalBeerIdiot on there, too.

 

647. 134 unique beers in my cellar means no slowing down in 2015.
