Are there any spots (bottle shops) along route 91 in Connecticut, not out of the way that are worth a stop at?

Tree House is a slight detour, though it's the best East Coast brewery outside of VT. Worth it if you want to make it more than a VT trip.

Depends on when you're going. If you take the Hutch/Merrit (Route 15) you can get off in Woodbridge (exit 59) and hit NEBCo for growlers, and Amity Wine and Spirit for bottles and cans.
Amity has great stuff, and if you get lucky you might score Gandhi Bot and/or Sip of Sunshine cans.
Continue North on 15 and it eventually joins with 91.

I love seeing you respond to my threads, you have the best reviews on YouTube. I do however disagree w your take on Molotov lite but that's craft beer for ya.

Going to check out tree house on my way down from Vermont brother thanks for the tip!

That's awesome. Had Gandhi on tap recently didn't think it deserved the hype.

If you go Saturday and stop at NEBCO they may still have bottles of bourbon barrel stout trooper. I haven't seen them say they are out yet...

They have a couple of other beers on tap besides Gandhi. I hear the Motuekamauke pale is great.

Not a bottleshop, but Worthy Burger in South Royalton is worth a visit for some beers and burgers. The owner is also one of the founders of Blind Tiger in NYC.
