I once bought a case of Stone IPA with 1 completely empty bottle inside (cap still tightly on). The only thing missing was the beer. No biggie. I think these types of things just happen occasionally.

that would be a biggie to me

edit, i misread that it was a case with one not filled. maybe not a biggie, but i would be somewhat agitated.

This was later, I only took this picture to send it to RR.

Then you would've know the batch since the bottle is dated, I don't understand.

I took the picture but didn't get around to sending it until a few weeks later. I never thought of writing down the batch.

i dont know how u would have not noticed a low fill when u bought it. very odd

you said you put it in your luggage. i bet it blew in the high altitude.

no offense, but that is a very sketchy story. especially since u dont have the batch number and i cant see the top of your bottle in any of the pics

The cap is on the bottle. I'm more interested in that sign that says "You're Cute!" Do you hold that up to people? Gotten any dates?

    No cap to be seen...

But I still believe standardcherry. I've seen some Firestone beers that seem under filled. Then you have Ballast Point who fills every bottle to the brim ha.

I honestly don't care if you believe me or not. The point of this post was to see if anyone had the same problem so I could determine what batch number it was.

Haha yes, I do hold that up to cool people I see when I drive around. The reverse side has my phone number on it but it hasn't worked so far...

What is the point of this thread? To demonstrate that machines and people operate less than perfectly sometimes?

    Shit happens.

I know shit happens, I'm not blaming anyone or anything. Just wanted to see if anyone had the same problem and trying to be helpful with finding out the batch number.

beerme411 already answered your question in this thread. The bottled on date is clearly visible on the side of the label.

Same point as 98% of threads on this site that won't change the world, to talk about beer.
