I think people relate Fireball to cheap (shitty) whiskey...I personally would rather shoot fireball than any other whiskey...but im a beer guy lol

EW23 (dark blue wax) is quite good, actually. Strong barrel character, but delicious if that's what you're into.

I have a Maker's Mark from last year. Not my favorite bourbon, but interested in how it will be in the beer.

My understanding is that these vary greatly between yearly batches. I picked up 4 of batch #36 and they are fantastic!

No idea which batch I had. Drank mine in May and I'd had it for a few months before that. Straight cold coffee.

EC 20 is one of the best stouts from anyone anywhere, lots of dark fruit raisens, plums etc, nice with the bourbon. They're all good kinda pricy but the EC 20 is really special,

The old Fitz is the only one I've yet to try, and it was excellent. I have a High West I'll be trying before too long. Hope it's in the same league.

Cinnamon is not ever in a barrel, nor is is "Fireball" ever in a barrel. It's a blended whisky, at best. It's not even labeled "Canadian Whisky" so it's not even subject to any barrel aging requirements. I'd guess it's primarily neutral grain spirits, a lot of caramel and cinnamon added later, and whatever the minimum rye/wheat/corn is required is to get Whisky on the label at all.

I'm not trying to give you a hard time hard time, but don't hold your breathe on that one.

My 92yr old Grandpa was impressed that there was such a thing as he has been wanting to try Evan Williams without spending the $$$. He said the stout was confusing but loved the Bourbon flavor. Wasted opportunity to not grab a pic, but if my old G-Pa likes it then that gets my vote!!

Drank the Java 2014 last night. Great coffee smell with good balance with the bourbon and cold press coffee. Definitely memorable. Cant wait to try my 2 other variants, EC12 and EW23

Yea the price tag i think is too much for the beer. I went forward and trying to get my whole set this year. I kicked my self in the but after because a whole set is around $400. I bought and extra Buffalo Trace and had it last weekend. Very low on the bourbon flavor. Heavy on Coffee, carmel, chocolate flavor. I had it with some desert and it was Delicious.

Its heavy on the coffee flavor already. I'm wondering what the Java would taste like

I am not the biggest fan of fresh Eclipse but the ones I've had with a year or two of age on them have been up there with the best stouts I've had. Hard to swallow at retail prices but ill probably start buying futures from now on

Jeezum, I live less than a mile from the brewery and I've only had like one or two of the variants listed in the poll. I need to win the lottery.
