The actual release event was yesterday, but I'm assuming most everything should still be available, as serving sizes tended to be fairly small (8 ounce and 10 ounce pours). I don't remember everything available (but I think the list is on twitter, if it's not on the website), just that they had the regular Abraxas and a saison from them. All together, they had 6 different beers from Perennial on tap, with the Abraxas topping out price-wise at $9.50 for an 8 ounce glass. Looks like they pulled out some other goodies for the event as well. Speedway and BCBS were also on tap, among other things. The BCBS was served in 10 ounce glasses, for $10 a pop (for those who might be interested). Cheers!
I stumbled upon this on the way home from our mountain cabin last night. Abraxas was listed as $4-something on the menu, but whatever. No big deal. E9's Peach Ras Tacoma Weisse really good, too.
Yeah, it was still mis-priced when I stopped by as well ($4.79 a glass). The waitress gave it to me at the listed price, but I was told the price in the computer was $9.50 a glass (including tax). BTW. After getting a glass of Abraxas, I went across the street to get a glass of coffee cinnamon Bbomb over at the Red Hot (Damn if this hasn't been a particularly good time to be in Tacoma). Liked the Abraxas quite a bit (a bit sweet and rich, but undeniably delicious), but it's not in the same class with the C/C BBomb (IMHO). After my glass there (the keg blew almost immediately after I got my one glass), I ran over to Pint Defiance and bought 3 more bottles. As others on here have mentioned, Fremont Brewing is just knocking it out of the park right now.
My wife described Abraxas as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which was pretty spot on. Remember that CC Bbomb is also barrel-aged, while standard Abraxas is not. But yeah, I prefer CC Bbomb as well.
I haven't heard of Perennial in my neck of the woods before. I'll have to look for them next time I'm on the west side of the state.
