Is open! (soft open they said).

"Wow" is the word that comes to mind.

Girlfriend and I stopped by to just see what was up and low and behold they were open. Place is simply unbelievably cool...it might be the nicest tap room we have been too. Huge room with wall to ceiling windows overlooking the brewery. The Brewers were at work and they brought out samples of 2 of the beers fermenting away. One is a new 4.6% session IPA they said. And their beers on tap were phenom, my surprise favorite being their Holiday High Road. They had a Citra High Road that was outstanding too.

People that were there were as amazed as we were. I still have to check out Insight and of course Surly, but this place might be my new home.

I'm pretty bummed I'm out of state, saw it on their instagram that they're letting people in.

Not sure of hours....forgot to ask. We also got in without an invite. They said they were keeping it quiet to work out any kinks. The place is awesome.

We are "soft" open starting this Friday. Normal hours are 3-10pm Wed - Fri, 12-10 sat, 12-6 Sunday. We hope to get our growler license tomorrow am so we can do growlers for Xmas Eve. Stop in and check us out  We still have a few things to finish (e.g. getting signage) but the beer is flowing!

I just stopped by the taproom and picked up some growlers. The place looks great!

I also talked to one of the owners about their growler policy. They haven't finalized it yet but it sounds like they're probably going to allow people to exchange any empty growler for one of theirs...

Is the taproom board game friendly? I heard there were a few on the tables.

Will you have MSB on tap?

MSB should be on tap in a week or so (currently in fermenters).

I do hope they decide to have the more inclusive growler policy - they did say this on Twitter though: https://twitter.com/mikeboeve/status/547779330777317377

    This was posted today...

@BadgerHillTap: Did you know? @BadgerHillBeer is consumer friendly for growlers. We'll wave the deposit in exchange for any brewery glass.

That place has a very cool vibe and this is one more feather in their cap. Also, this past weekend an owner was sampling their new session IPA in the tap room straight from a fermenter. Holy mother of hops. He said there was 6 or 7 different hops used and it was an aroma bomb, plain awesome.

Speaking of growlers, they are only charging $10 for most fills (I think I paid $12 for their IPA).

Thanks to everyone who has stopped in so far! Hopefully you had a good time as well as some good beer  Just a note that we are still in our "soft" open period and still have things to cross off our to do list. Furniture, signage, sound dampening are a few things we will be adding/changing over the near future. Additionally, we will always look to make changes that will make the experience better for our customers and community. Your patience and feedback is appreciated.

To clarify the growler policy, we are only selling our growlers that we prefill and will waive the $5 growler deposit to anyone who brings in another brewery's growler. We want to make sure we are only selling beer in glass we know is clean and ready for consumption but also want to help out beer lovers who may have accumulated lots of glass over the years.

As always, thanks for drinking local!

Just to clarify, you will take any other breweries glass (non local) in exchange for one of yours and then the price of the beer obviously? I have a couple from out of state that I would swap out if that's the case.
