Does anyone know if any liquor stores or pubs (preferably in the Denver metro area) stock blind pig? Their website lists only 2 restaurants where it may be available, one in Boulder and one in Fort Collins. Thank you in advance for the help.

"Stock" as in sell bottles? I've never seen bottles for sale (at least not in the past 3-4 years, maybe before than it was). Otherwise, lots of places have it on tap, I don't know of any that currently have it on but it's probably on somewhere.

CO doesn't get bottles of Blind Pig for whatever reason. Pig is almost always on tap a Falling Rock though. That's your best bet

^this. Go to Falling Rock. I'm fairly certain that Blind Pig bottles are currently only available at the brewery, though that was different in the past and may again be in the future.

We got bottled Blind Pig back when Russian River first started distributing here, but they stopped sending it after maybe 6-8 months and I haven't seen it since.
Beyond the Falling Rock, I've had it on tap at Freshcraft as well.
I actually prefer it to Pliny and that isn't a knock on Pliny either.

From what I understand, BP bottles are now brewery-only. Not even California distro. Still pops up all the time on draught thankfully, as, for me, it perfectly captures that well-attenuated, dry, crisp West Coast IPA style.

I guess I should clarify, I am looking for it on tap or by the bottle. So falling rock and freshcraft. Would that be it?

Backcountry Pizza in Boulder almost always has Pliny or Blind Pig or both on tap. FoCo folks might have to help you out as I'm not in Fort Collins much but Mayor of Old Town, Choice City and Tap n Handle have both RR IPAs on from time to time.

Also Oskar Blues Homemade Liquids & Solids in Longmont (close by Boulder) has Pliny sometimes. They're on tap at many places in northern and central CO, it's just timing is the key. Although Pliny is more available than Blind Pig.

Westminster Cheeky Monk had Pliny on the other day, don't think it had Blind Pig though.

Oh yeah - the downtown Cheeky Monk is also a possible location. Thinking about it, if you Google "Pliny the Younger Denver" - any of those places are potential locations.
If you're on the hunt, you can probably call most of these spots and just ask if they have it.

Pliny was/is on tap at Oskar Blues Homemade liquids and solids. When it kicks, they usually put Blind Pig on tap.

Try their facebook and twitter pages. They weren't always consistent or regular with updating them either, but if you click at the right time you might get lucky.

My favorite bar in Fort Collins, personally. Great tap selection, super casual atmosphere. Food is solid for bar food, but Choice City is 100 yards aways...

And, yes, unfortunately Kentucky. One year internship....then I am out of here. Not for me.

Falling Rock almost always has Blind Pig. I far prefer Pig to Pliny...

Yeah, within walking distance, for an old fart like me, of Choice City, Coopersmiths, Equinox...who knows what else since I haven't been down south for over 4 years.

You got the important ones. Freedom's Edge and Pateros Creek are also within walking distance, but neither impress me, personally, so i would say not worth your time. If in town and willing to drive (or bike) somewhere, I'd recommend hitting up Horse & Dragon; I have really enjoyed just about everything I had tried from them. Kind of around Odell/Funkwerks area, though a little further north.

I am not a fan of Freedom's Edge. I had some of their bottled beers early in their brewing life and they were not all that good. To expand to Old Towne in FC....I was kind of confused; or they were.
