The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

Watching football all day, not a fan of any of these teams but definitely preferred the Ducks to FSU. I think I will be rooting for Bama, but I may find myself rooting for individual players. And want a good game more than anything.

And FWIW, I bet tickets for the championship team won't be as bad as you might think. Fans of all four schools buy tickets ahead of time, after tonight all the losers will be putting their tickets on stubhub....it is just a matter of how long you are willing to play chicken and wait to buy.

 

I guess this is local to me! Very good beer. Probably one of their best offering although their master brewer has been doing great things with sours the last year or so.

Yeah I usually DVR games and give myself a delay to speed through commercials. With 21 unanswered it's not looking good for bama, but can the bucks finish strong enough to hold on to the lead?

 

Live sports is the one place I will not DVR. I watch live or I miss it. I like to live in the moment. Plus some dumbass always screws me and texts me about the game.

I was wondering this too but dismissed it as the musings of a mad man. Often a sound tact when it comes to Keith.

 

I totally get that, for me I like having the chance to rewind and do my own instant replays, skip commercials, shit like that. And being able to come home an hour into the game, or even 6 hours after it ended, and sit down like it's just starting is nice.

I have no problem ignoring my phone outright if it's for a good reason like "the game is on" so while I can't say it's never happened, I rarely have the result spoiled.
