Perfect beer to kick off a new year. I'm currently looking through sour recipes and I'll beg for help here in a few weeks. I've got a lot of barleywine recipes and RIS recipes sitting in the basement that need attention too.

Bottled my 5 gallon extract batch of Electric Tower IPA. I'm hoping for a hoptastic beer, but well see in a bit.

Yeah, way past time for me to finish the bathroom. Anyway, it's been more than 24hrs, nothing happening with the airlock or temps yet which I've since learned is OK. Maybe tomorrow. I used the White Labs yeast nutrient stuff and a minute+ worth of O2 to feed the yeast. I got a little curious on my yeasts this time and saw WLP051 so I thought I'd give that a go over the venerable US-05 or WLP001. I pitched two vials.

I have my first attempt at a cream ale fermenting right now. I also started making some bacon extract and some vanilla extract today that I plan on adding to the cream ale later

I brewed an Irish Red and my friend made all citra IPA. I also designed a fermentation chamber. I will started fabricating tomorrow. I'll create a thread for it when I'm done if anyone is interested.

Doing an AIPA and a strong british ale this week. Using stout wort as the starter for the AIPA and am going to hoy the lot in so it might end up a bit red tinged. Should be fine though

My uncle and I brewed yesterday, I know it's off season but I brewed a pumpkin spice ale kit, it's my first brew in almost a year.

Brewed 10 gallons of what will be sour beer on the first. Half will be the final year for my gueuze! The other half I might hold onto for the start of anther gueuze or I'll fruit it.

Did a Scottish Ale and a Sweet Stout on New Year's now it's just the waiting game for me. Lesson learned for me on winter brewing in the garage is to vent the door a little more often during the boil, got up the next day damn near everything in the garage had signs of rust on it from the insane humidity.
