This hit Portland today...It's Logsdon's first Flanders Red made with local organic sweet and sour cherries (or something like that, the description disappeared when the updated website went up today). Slightly larger batch than the Peche and Brett but this should go fast considering the reputation Logsdon is building.

It also won the People's Choice Award at Portland's Cheers to Belgian Beers.

Funny, of course the beers of theirs that I'm interested in are the ones that will be impossible to get. Oh well.

Picked up a couple today. Makes me wish I still had some Peche left.

For those interested, beermongers does have some kickass Logsdon glassware as well.

Yep. They are fantastic. I think they might be five or six bucks.

I was in Portland this week and picked this up. I will bring it to the next BA tasting. Is there a date yet?

July 1st @ 1PM! There's a thread somewhere in Pacific about it. Also, thanks! I think I'll bring a Gilgamesh, we can have an American-Flanders-off.

American-Flanders tastings are the new -bal Barleywine tastings. Cerasus, Gilgamesh, Block 15 Belmont 15th, Rosso E Marrone, Dissident, Le Pelican Brun, La Folie, Marron Acidifie, Madame Rose, Oude Tart, and Red Poppy make a very nice lineup. Personally, I'm waiting for the new batch of HotD Michael to be released before opening up mine. :sunglasses:

Got my bottles of Cerasus at Bailey's last week. They thought they would be getting more. Took a trip to Logsdon this weekend for a tour. Got the glass for $7 there just for argument sake. They have very little Peche N Brett left fyi. Plenty of Cerasus and based on where the Cerasus cases were stored, it appeared they have a bunch more heading out of the farm.

Do they do tours every weekend? Any tastings? Last time I was on their website I didn't see any info about it, but that was a while ago.

When I spoke with Chuck and John from Logsdon back in April, they requested 48 hours notice if you wanted a visit. The operation is small and it's not always staffed to handle a 'tour', even it's just one or two people dropping in...

I set something up with Charles about 5 days before we wanted to go out there. As long as he plans on being there at the time you want to get a tour I think he is fine with it.
