Spring House is a cool little place, always packed and everyone orders the full 8 beer taster set-up so that slows down things and make me feel real bad for the bartenders.

I miss when you could visit the actual brewery and have "samples", it's right down the street from the in-laws so it always made that trip a little better.

They are working on a big new brewery and brew pub, last I heard it would be open in the Spring.

If you want some Martians let me know, I see it all over the place so I'm sure I could track some down for you.

 

I'll keep track for you. You have four beers poured already. Time to start imbibing!

Oh yeah, never thought about that. I've got plenty of access to Kona and Ka'u, which is pretty damn good in it's own right. We get some Cali stuff, but it's either crazy expensive or not as fresh as you'd like. We do get lots of Belgians though. And sake, lots and lots of sake.

Seemed like I lucked into a lot of fresh Deschutes when I was there, but that was primarily at the Class 6 store at Hickam, which a a mere 100 yards from my house, luckily the gym was only a few more 100 yards past that

Sarcasm, just wish I had some good Indiana beers available to rise to the occasion for my post. On the bright side, my guys aren't educated on West Lafayette yet ( ) but ... they both want to be Engineers and unfortunately Purdue has the upper hand there! (No bias, a great school, but when the basketball hits the floor - GAME ON!! )
