I've only been the first reviewer once before... but I've got to open both of them together and do a side by side when I do it... I also love the fact that they bottle in 375 ml (smaller bottle format) so I can actually do both in one evening without severe consequences... this is probably going to happen sooner than later

Drink it soon Martin!!!! I've had the 14, 16,17,18... but I had the 14 about 3-4 months ago and it had some of those stale, wet cardboard oxidized notes to it...

 

Well, I'm easy to convince haha. Luckily some friends had this one a couple weeks ago so I know it's still drinking will. Won't wait too long though!

My VBS entry for tonight. Never had a single hop Mosaic IPA, for god sake.... so good

 

VBS. Pipeworks Sure Bet. Ipa with honey and mango. Looks like juice in the glass, very cloudy. Huge mango smell. Taste didn't follow all that much, mango hidden behind the hops. Still, very nice.

 

You really gotta try Yellow Rose, it is of the same hop ilk...

 

Working on it, need to lure one of the Texans in for a trade hahah.

I still consider myself a Texan, but alas I can't help you here.. but I"m sure at least one of the 4 or so TX BA's in this thread could help out...

FYI, I'm pretty sure that the most recent batch of Citra was from October. The Nelson was much more recent (and better IMO), and you may want to try that instead.

No way! I assure you if I get doubles of anything in that box, I would be a happy man!

 

I knew that was first batch Citra, that's a shame someone was holding it for so long and didn't drink it... @mbmiche already beat me to the punch with his offer, but if your trade partner doesn't make it right, either one of us will gladly fix that. As Matt said, Citra was last bottled in October and I don't know when it's going to be made next. PW's got a really terrible Citra contract this year and probably will not be featuring it as much. But be sure to let us know if he makes this right.
