Humboldt area beer shops and bars

    Heading up to Arcata in a couple days. Looking for some places to buy beer and drink beer. I'm not limited to Arcata, but would like to stay within an hour drive. Thanks.

    Arcata Co-op and Wildberries were the best places when I was in school there. Nobody could beat a good Safeway sale though for quantity.

    The Local Beer Bar in Eureka and Blondies in Arcata are good spots. For breweries I like Redwood Curtain (Arcata) and Mad River (Blue Lake).

    Those are the spots for sure and I would add Sirens Song Beer Bar in Eureka to that list.
