I always thought the pickup window was two weeks, not one week plus a couple of days. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll be in Mexico during those exact dates of the pickup window. No Citra for me. Good luck to those trying!

 

Is this the 4th or 5th lottery?

 

I believe it's the 4th. From what I remember, the 1st lottery was in the fall of 2013.

Same here. However I got a score on one of the flash-sales.

 

i went before the lottery so i'm a bit lost... if i do win (fat chance) i have to go alone?? or can i take someone and still hang at the pub?

 

This is just a lottery to buy bottles. You're free to go there and hang out as much as you want. Citra should be on the whole pickup window this time since it's only a week but they do sometimes limit how many pints you can get in a sitting.

It has always been two weekends, Friday to the following Sunday. Incidentally, I am leaving for Mexico tomorrow, thus trying to get this lottery out of the way early. Where are you going? Punta de Mita for me.

 

Beercation?
We're heading to Tucson the weekend after the 8th for some winter desert sun and concerts. Then a couple of weeks later a hop across the Pacific To Maui for some RnR and to check out MBC in Kihei. So I'm hoping to get my first lottery win to pick up some bottles to take with me on my trips. If not then it's still worth a road trip to KRBC some some liquid gold.

 

What have the odds been for these lotteries?

 

I tried this last year, and came up short. Hopefully, I'll have better luck this year.

 

Me and 4 of my friends tried it the last 3 times. None of us won the regular lottery.

 

I don't know what the odds are each time because it depends on how much they bottle. For the one last February, somewhere around 1300-1400 people entered and 320 people won. Not sure if the other batches have been the same size or if the number of folks entering has increased though.

 

Won the lottery the first time, then struck out the following two times.
