Ahhh, the source is revealed. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. Hopefully there won't be a lottery next time though...

Can I print this and put it on my wall? I don't even care if it gets distributed, but as long as it's available to anyone at the brewery for, let's say 2 weeks period, I'll be in heaven.

Expansion is going well then? Oh man, I can't wait! Though you know there's going to have to be a lottery or else we're back to the days where you have to drive up from L.A. at 3am to get it.

To be honest I wouldn't mind doing that for a change, just not during winter...Especially with our luck with the lottery.

Keep the lottery @KRBCEric !! Please  Lately all the liquor stores/marts/supermarkets have been pissing me off with the way they handle special release beer. Can hardly find Just Outstanding without kneepads.

I'm a huge fan of the drve. it's a much needed road trip through some beautiful scenery.... once you get past Bakersfield.

I thought it was beautiful too but after seeing this sign and having a full size truck I was more into not dying going into each turn. But I lived and the puppy didn't puke and it was an amazing 2 days out there.

You do know there's another route to get to Kernville? Just as beautiful and not dangerous.

people people people... for the love of all that's holy don't make this ONLY about the beer... enjoy the place.. stay a night.. (we stayed 2 last time)... run around the hills.. play in the river... catch a fish... hit the lake... that way is much nicer.

Yeah, I getcha. Spend more time away from the brewery, or in other words, more Citra for you. ;-)

If your coming from LA, take the 178 off the 14 (thru Mojave). A few miles longer (maybe 10) but no narrow winding roads. Speed limit is between 40-50mph. Takes me 3 1/2 hours from HB. For those in south OC I would take 15 to 395 to 178. Sometimes it's easier coming home to Long Beach or OC area with the 405 traffic through Sepulveda Pass/LAX area.

The backdoor route...and you avoid Bakersfield. Nice.

It's way better. I took the route through Bakersfield once and never did it again.
