    Man: I just picked up this case of Bourbon county Stout and it just KICKS MY ASS I don't think I will ever
    be able to drink it all.

    Checked on a beer mail or I may have missed my official 1 year anniversary on BA. Going with my last 2014 Pt5 straight out of the cellar. Warm down there compared to the outside world. Probably one of my 3 favorite stouts, but I think I like it better on the fresher side. A lot more tobacco and seems slightly more bitter.

    Enjoying some Oil of Aphrodite that I picked up on a recent trip to Jackie O's . It's an imperial stout brewed with candied syrup and locally-produced black walnuts...

    Wow! :grinning: This is one of the more memorable non-barrel-aged beers I've had. I'm really digging the flavor. Just enough roastiness to remind you it's a stout, but loads of sweetness and an intense maltiness. I have a bottle of the rum-barrel-aged version and now I'm really looking forward to trying that one.
