I always recommend showing up 15-20 minutes before opening on normal days, or after 5pm

Indians are very upset that they used gandhi as the face of their beer when Gandhi was against alchohol. There are about 500 comments on the latest post. Nebco just posted an apology

If you haven't seen, tener 13 is an 8% abv DIPA with citra and simcoe. hard to imagine that being less than outstanding.

Edit: oh and it's on for growlers now.

There should be a thread: "NEBCO line updates, pics with time stamp only."

    On tap:
Matumake pale ale (probably spelled wrong)
    Fat 10er 12 smoked porter
    Fat 10er 13 DIPA
Gandhibot (not sure if I can post that but anyway).
Line was 30 deep at 3pm.
    Cheers!

Yeah, it's annoying. Doesn't take much to at leat take a picture of the board. Love their beer but I don't get the feeling they care about their customers as much as others, like Treehouse.

By not posting they give their locals and regulars a better chance to actually drink their beer. I prefer the silence

I agree and disagree at the same time. While i can't stand the 3 hour lines, I also live 50 min away, which makes it very unlikely that I will drive there without knowing what's on tap. I have been going there a long time. I really miss being able to walk in (to the old location) get a fill of Gandhi or Hag, shoot the shit with the crew and the customers, pet Eli, and still be out of there in under 30 minutes. Was a great experience.

In the past, New England never announced "big" releases. All bottle releases were unannounced. FBD would come on silently. Coriolis/Supernaut/Galaxy didn't draw big lines so they would be announced. I definitely would prefer releases being unannounced as it gives a chance of going to the brewery and getting something special without sitting outside for an hour or more. Unfortunately, I think that is probably just a thing of the past as it seems people line up before opening nearly every day.

Also, Tree House released Good Morning last Saturday unannounced. Excellent surprise for the people that come up to get their more regular offerings.

Like @pjs234, I live far enough away (almost 2 hours) that there is no way I will just go without knowing what is on, especially for NEBCO which at times has just a few things or runs out of beer. I would love to support them more but prefer to travel to support places like Trillium, HF, Carton, Jack's Abby, etc. which do a great job supporting locals as well as those from far away.

@CTJman - you feel that way for all breweries? Kind of surprising as if everyone just focused on locals, did not post updates, etc., it advantages you for a few breweries and disadvantages you for about hundreds more. To each his own.
