Interesting. I really enjoy Hop Juice Black, Hoodwink, Resistance IPA, and Ebel's Weiss. I actually didn't think the Red Eye Coffee Porter was all that great.

Great River Redband, and Brau Bros. Ryewyne... They killed it with that offering.

I've really tried to like Brooklyn, but I just can't. It's a shame, because some of their limited stuff is pretty good. I had their Dark Matter on draft when I first started getting into beer, and so began the trip that propelled me to becoming the 'alcoholic' you see before you today.

    Caldera makes a nice IPA
Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro bottles are cool and I'm not impressed with their other offerings
Two Brothers makes some nice beers
    How about Coronado's Idiot DIPA?

I used to like 21st Amendment a lot more but maybe my palate has shifted or grown up. The watermelon is lousy, I don't mind the Black IPA though.

Almost forgot: Nectar Ales Black Xanthus is pretty great.

Simtra Triple IPA. It is AWESOME. Probably the best beer I've ever tasted that is over 10% alc. But the rest of Knee Deeps offerings are just meh.

Lancaster Milk Stout was my first thought. I think Hop Hog and Four Grain are pretty meh but the Milk Stout is delicious.

Lancaster Kolsch is awesome, and after drinking the rest of their lineup weekly for two years, that's pretty much the only one I'll ever buy.

I really like the Vanilla Porter and Oatmeal Stout from Breckenridge but other than that I would agree their stuff is pretty middling as the ratings here attest to. I also dig The Poet and love Dragon's Milk from New Holland but haven't enjoyed anything else from them at all, though they're carrying a 92 so I guess they're not really considered mediocre.

I've seen New Belgium beers mentioned a few times on this thread. But when I look at the reviews of their beers I see 16 listed a 4+ ratings and none listed below 3. I don't think they qualify as a mediocre brewery (but that may be because I like almost everything I've had from them).

I agree, I was there in April and has a similar experience. The only beer I enjoyed was the Cocoa Loco. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the BA Shipwreck.

Budweiser American Ale. Not too sure if they still make it, I haven't seen it around for awhile.
