This means that the extra hoppy OG will require an extra year or two of aging. I love OG with some age on it.

If the chai they use is heavy on the black pepper I might be able to get behind that idea, otherwise I'll be taking my dollars elsewhere.

Yeah but it also screws up odd-year cellaring tastings.

I'm hoping for Espresso since I was a noob last time it came out and only had one bottle. Funny how so many of us are hoping Stone doesn't fuck it up with more gimmicks.

    Agreed. What were they thinking?

I kinda doubt that they do espresso again this year unless they throw a bunch or spices or something in it

I was at the brewery in escondido on my lunch break having a spiced unicorn milk and the bar. I commented on the amount of chai they used in the beer and was told the IRS odd year variant was going to be chai.

Stone is becoming what Rogue should have been...

I hope they at least use some interesting hop varieties for the OG

New beer is new beer. It's an experience either way. Though not super exicted, I'll definitely try the OG, Stone rarely fails. They can tweak RIS however they want & I'll drink it.

My wife loved the Espresso IRS and I love the Smoked OG. Either one would be awesome!
