    In keeping with my my 2015 resolution to revisit beers I tried years ago but didn't have the palate to appreciate, I decided to start with the gold standard of golden ales.

    Actually I decided on Duvel when I couldn't find any Pyraat or Gulden Draak; either way!

    I hope that wasn't sarcasm, my friend.:grinning::wink:

    I picked that glass out of an older house I remodeled last year. During the attic clean-out, I found this piece from Löwenbräu. It's one of the heaviest glasses I've ever seen. Super thick.

    Looks pretty good when it's cleaned out and restored with a Jack's Abby Kiwi Rising in it. Old school. :grinning:
