Boulevard Love Child #2 in MN

I know Saison Brett hit late last week, but I didn't hear anything about Love Child.

 

Based on the view-response ratio, my guess is either nobody really knows right now, or those who do are keeping it to themselves...

 

No it has not dropped yet, If it does this week or next.

Was just informed by the Distributor that due to the limitied Quantity available (they were supposedly only offered 12cs) they chose to pass on getting this shipped to MN.

 

Whuck?? 12 cases is a helluva lot better than none.

 

If this is true...wow!!!

 

What a joke. I guess they can just send us 12 cases of wheat beer to drink instead.

 

Guess you can drown your sorrows in Surly, which we don't get in KC. Boulevard didn't make as much of this as the typical Smokestack releases. It looks like they decided to keep more in KC. Saison Brett and BBQ fly off the shelves here when they are released, and there have been a lot of rumblings amongst the local beer geeks about Boulevard not treating KC well, so keeping more in KC makes a lot of locals happy.

We suffer with really limited supplies of beers as well. Goose Island Lolita and Juliet were less than ten cases for the city if I heard correctly. Founders' limited stuff is hard to come by as well, although I think that is the case any where.

 

Yeah I am sure this is the case everywhere. Not to mention the 1000 new breweries opening in Minnesota that will give us even more local variety. We get a little crazy about sours, since there just aren't many of them anywhere

 

Good for Boulevard! I wish more breweries would take care of their home markets instead of sending a ridiculously small number of cases hither & yon (I'm lookin' at you, Goose Island).

 

I like this too, except for the fact that I want one and don't trade much. Hey...I'm thinking we should have a sour tasting...

I got a bottle of love child #1 at work today for free. So I got that going for me, which is nice.

For real though. What's the story with this one? Bottle said it was one of only 1,200 or so.

 

The story is you should bring it to the sour tasting.

 

I will actually drink more summit. I like being able to buy a 12 pack of summer ale for $12. (yes I will pimp that beer in all of my posts)
