Sorry if its an annoying question but how difficult did this end up being to acquire for you guys in the distro? Wife (and I) wanted to try it and was thinking about a FT thread don't want to be way off.

For folks in Charlotte, which is right over the state line, it was tough to get. From what i understand, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville may still have bottles on the shelf. I would trade $4$ all day.

FYI, Southern Spirits on Johnston Rd/Lancaster Hwy just tapped 4th Anny, if anyone is interested in such things.

I just grabbed a case (12) of these for trade. My plan is to head up to Charlotte on 1/17 or 1/24 for in person trades. I'll be looking for stuff I can't get in SC or Charlotte, and more or less be trading $4$. I paid $10 a piece for these. PM me if you're interested.

For what its worth I believe its been gone from Charleston for a while now. Last time I saw it was at TW around Christmas. It was definitely not at TW on New Years Day, and I believe TW was the last to have it. If I am incorrect and someone knows where there is more, let me know cause I would be glad to pick up more.

I guess my prediction on Christmas day was right...it was gone by New Year's Day. The last time I found some was at TW on New Year's Eve. I went back a few days later and it was gone. I probably picked up 2 cases total from several purchases, with over half going to friends and a few trades. Compared to the other anniversary releases, this one dried up unbelievably fast!

Was in Columbia Friday and saw a lot at Greens and Total Wine! None in Charleston, though.

Got a growler of it at The Barrel Sat. night or $20... A fair price for the beer.

If that positive outburst wasn't enough, let me say I found said beer tasty.

Off topic, but I was impressed with the sounds of the guy with didgeridoo when I walked in. Hard to believe all those sounds were from one guy.

Finally hitting GA distro this week. Savannah is super slow.

I was completely underwhelmed by this beer. It was good, but by no means worth waiting in line for. Meh.

No lines that I've seen. Just very limited distro, so isn't staying on the shelf once it gets there.

I completely agree. I actually got some from Green's in SC and decided not to even chase it in Atlanta. No coconut in the one I had and just a lot of chocolate and almond. Westbrook can certainly do better.

There was a line the day of release at the brewery, but your right it was available many/most places without a line.

I'm actually surprised by the recent posts not liking it. It's my favorite Anniversary beer to date, including Mexican Cake. I also thought the coconut was pretty strong. Certainly to each their own though. I wasn't a big fan of Capn Skoons and I know lots of people absolutely loved it.

Agreed, definitely my fav Anny beer so far, including MC. I have never understood the hype surrounding MC, when there are a dozen other beers out there with the same flavor profile....hell, Mexican Standoff at Due South IMO is a better version of MC. Capn Skoons I didn't care for, and I loathed Orange Bliss, didn't even finish 1 bottle of it.
